SaveSprout is a personal savings and spending-awareness application. It helps users create savings goals, record actual savings, pause impulse purchases, track avoided spending, and participate in no-spend challenges.
SaveSprout does not require users to create an account or provide personal identity information such as a name, phone number, or email address.
Depending on how you use the application, you may enter or select information such as:
This information is stored locally on your device. SaveSprout does not operate its own server for storing, syncing, or accessing this information.
SaveSprout does not connect to your bank account and does not initiate or process financial transactions. Any savings or transfers recorded in the application are manual records entered by the user.
SaveSprout does not provide its own cloud backup or multi-device synchronization service.
However, depending on your Android device settings, the Android operating system or your device provider may include application data in system backup or device-transfer services. These services are controlled by your device provider and are subject to its own privacy policy and settings.
SaveSprout uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how the application is used and to improve its features and user experience.

Notifications
SaveSprout may request permission to send notifications. Notifications are used to remind you when a purchase cooling-off period has ended. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
Photos and Images
SaveSprout allows you to select images for savings goals and paused purchases through the Android system file or photo picker.
SaveSprout only accesses images that you explicitly select. It does not request general access to your entire photo library. Selected images remain under the control of your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

User-created goals, savings records, purchase cooldowns, notes, and related information remain on the device until you delete them, clear the application's data, or uninstall SaveSprout.

Because SaveSprout does not require an account and does not store user-created savings data on its own servers, we generally cannot identify or remotely delete a specific user's locally stored records.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the application. However, no device, storage system, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including the use of a screen lock and other available device security features.
SaveSprout is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the application, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
